As a counsellor and art therapist with a Master’s degree I have the skills and training to work with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. In addition to this my areas of focus in private practice are:

Dying, Death, Grief and Loss: Support for people who are dying or have a loved one nearing death, and for those whose loved one (human or animal) has already passed.

Life Transitions and Changes: There are many ways in which our lives change: birth, marriage, job loss, divorce, moving, and many more. As a result the old is gone and the new is here, and you may like some support to navigate the change.

Spirituality and Meaning Making: You may feel a sense of emptiness and long to feel more purpose and meaning in your life, or you may know that you would like a counselling experience where all of you is considered and supported: mind, body, spirit, and soul.

Trauma: I have experience as a sexual abuse/assault counsellor. I have training and experience working with various forms of trauma.

Children and Teenagers: Since I am trained in art and play therapy I can support children and teens to express themselves and work through their challenges through art and play which may be easier for them than words. (I also work with adults).

Life Enrichment for the Elderly: I work with seniors with or without conditions such as Dementia to continue to learn new things, share their stories and wisdom, and experience joy in their lives.
